In the spirit of Día de los Muertos, this community offering invites you to slow down and honor your connection to those who came before you through the practice of Yoga Nidra.
Held as a sacred, grief + trauma informed space, it becomes an inner altar, a place to remember, release, reconnect and rest.
Guided by visualizations of the cempasuchil (Marigold), various gentle sounds, participants will be led through a full yoga nidra journey, including body scan, gentle breath work and sankalpa (intention setting), woven with a meeting the ancestors visualization. Each breath becomes a bridge between worlds, inviting peace, healing and clarity.
Yoga Nidra and Día de los Muertos share the same root: remembrance, release and connection to lineage. This session brings mindfulness and ancestral wisdom together, offering a space to rest deeply and celebrate the cycles of life with intention.
Facilitated by Cyn Magaña, LCSW and 200 hour registered yoga teacher.
Date: Nov 2, 2026 from 6-7:15pm PST (9-10:15 EST)
