Are you a first-gen Latinx or a cycle breaker in your family, carrying the weight of high expectations? Navigating anxiety, uncertainty, or burnout as you strive to honor your roots while forging a path that’s authentically yours can feel overwhelming. If this resonates with you, I’m here to walk alongside you.
I’m Cyn Magaña, a queer Chicana therapist and trauma-informed wellness practitioner serving clients in California and New York. I know that traditional Western therapy, often designed by and for white men, can feel rigid, disconnected, and inaccessible for our communities. That’s why my mission is to decolonize these frameworks, creating a more human, relatable approach to healing. Drawing from the lived experiences of the global majority, I witness and honor the collective work happening in our communities.
My private practice is dedicated to professionals of color, creatives, and wellness entrepreneurs seeking clarity and peace during life transitions shaped by intercultural and immigrant experiences. Rooted in decolonizing and anti-oppressive practices, my work is somatic, relational, and spiritual. Together, we’ll co-create a healing roadmap tailored to your unique journey, using approaches like Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Brainspotting, and AEDP to help you untangle complex emotions, cultivate self-compassion, and foster intentional, nervous system-rooted shifts.
If you’re ready for a space where your healing is affirmed and your choices are empowered, let’s connect. Schedule a free 30-minute consultation via Latinx Therapy or visit my website at www.cynmagaña.com.
Your healing, your way.
