I’m Zoila (Soy-la) (she/her/hers/ella) a gender affirming Licensed Clinical Social Worker and practice owner of Empower Flower Counseling, LLC. I’m a first generation graduate, Latin-X clinician practicing in the Tampa Bay area. I’m currently working with people of color (POC) coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, family conflicts, LGBTQIA+ issues, multicultural issues and women’s issues ages 15 and up. My counseling style is flexible and tailored to your needs through evidence-based practices. I have experience in Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Somatic therapy, Trauma Informed Care, and Strength-Based therapy. My role as your therapist is to hold space for you and yours while challenging your core beliefs. Together we will construct a safe space to cultivate a deeper understanding of what lies within emotional pain, remove emotional blockages, challenge societal and gender norms and heal from generational trauma preventing us from blossoming into our best potential.
