Hola! I’m Zarina Moreno, a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Inner Mente Counseling. As a first-generation Latina, I understand the unique challenges that come with navigating two cultures, breaking generational cycles, and prioritizing mental health in families where therapy hasn’t always been talked about.
I know what it’s like to want to work with someone who looks like you and understands you—without having to over-explain yourself. I get it. That’s why I’ve created a space where you can show up fully, be seen, and begin your healing journey with someone who truly gets the cultural nuances that shape your experience.
My practice is rooted in a trauma informed and relational-cultural approach, centering connection, empowerment, and healing within community. I specialize in working with BIPOC and first-generation individuals—especially millennial Latinas—who are experiencing anxiety, depression, or the weight of generational trauma. I also support clients navigating burnout, trouble with self-compassion, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
In our work together, I incorporate ACT, EMDR, mindfulness, and somatic-based modalities. I believe deeply in the mind-body connection and how reconnecting with both can support deep, lasting healing. Therapy with me is collaborative, culturally affirming, and always grounded in compassion.
I offer individual therapy in both English and Spanish. You’re not alone in this journey—and you don’t have to carry it all by yourself. Let’s reconnect with your inner mente, together.
