Hi, I’m Yvette Garcia, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and proud first-generation Mexican-American therapist serving clients across California. With over 15 years of experience, I’ve supported families and individuals from underserved communities throughout Los Angeles County.
As the daughter of immigrants and an LA native, I understand the weight of generational trauma in the Latinx community—the pressure to succeed, unspoken sacrifices, and the desire to make our families proud. These lived experiences shape my passion for helping others heal and reclaim their stories.
I specialize in supporting women and mothers navigating trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. Whether you’re processing childhood wounds, the complexities of motherhood, or changes in career or relationships, I help you reconnect with your identity and move toward your best self.
Beyond therapy, I provide trauma-informed immigration psychological evaluations—work that’s deeply meaningful to me. I believe every story of resilience and hope deserves to be heard and honored.
In our work together, you’ll find a safe, compassionate space where you can show up fully as yourself. You don’t have to carry it all alone—healing is possible, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
Yvette Garcia, LCSW
