Cultural Identities

About Yennifer Valencia, LPC

Hi, I’m Yenni, a Latina therapist offering culturally responsive therapy for adolescents, young adults, and families. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, emotion regulation challenges, family conflict, stress, life transitions, and other mental health concerns. My approach is collaborative and grounded in the belief that each person is the expert in their own life. Even during life’s most difficult moments, there is always an opportunity for growth, healing, and change.

I use evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and client-centered therapy to help clients build practical coping skills, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful change. As a Latina, I understand the impact that culture, family dynamics, and expectations can have on emotional well-being. My goal is to provide a supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to navigate their unique journey in both English and Spanish.
