About

I am a LMFT who considers South Central LA (Watts) and Mexico her home. As a first generation Mexicana/Oaxaqueña I have experience the trauma and challenges BIPOC folx face as they navigate life. I believe that healing is possible and a birthright. I acknowledge the courage, commitment, community, discomfort and self love it takes to heal. In my work with folx I use various approaches and tools from my masters program in Mexico City, my work experience in community mental health and the violence prevention and intervention programs I have delivered. I also acknowledge and use the wisdom that was passed down from my ancestors. In therapy my goal is to create a safe place where all parts of yourself are held.
