Do you ever sit and wonder “what the eff is happening to me”? You know you don’t feel like yourself, and when people ask how you’re doing, you’re not sure how to answer them. Or you’re not even sure how to answer that in your head. Welp, let’s talk. I know I’ll sound like a cliche saying this but, this is exactly what therapy is. I like to think of myself as google translate that takes those “I don’t know” and “ I feel off”, etc… and helps you pinpoint what IS going on and in the process help you with being able to communicate it, whether it be to your parents, family, friends or a stranger. My approach focuses on meeting you where you’re at, with a mindful and curious lens. I bring two decades of experience to our work together and use a variety of modalities including narrative therapy, TF-CBT, and DBT to ensure you get what you need out of therapy. Why me as a therapist? Great question! Honestly, my approach is to make you feel comfortable and like we’re having a conversation. I bring who I am into the space, as I don’t think it would be a genuine safe place to talk to me without realizing that I have a sense of humor and the New Yorker (specifically The Bronx) comes to life when we talk.
