About Vicky Delgado, LCSW

The growth of a child depends deeply on their experiences and what they make of them. Children may express emotions around their experiences in ways that may be difficult for caregivers to manage. I believe it is important to create a safe space where clients feel empowered and heard in order to advocate, understand and help them develop skills to get their needs met. I aim to build a strong therapeutic alliance with your child in order to better understand their world. I enjoy using play and art therapy to assist children in expressing themselves in a language they understand. I use a relational and strengths-based approach to allow for my clients to feel supported along every step of the therapeutic process. I aim to provide a safe, warm and nonjudgemental environment where clients feel comfortable being true to themselves and feel seen.
