As a first-generation Mexican American, I understand the unique challenges that can come with balancing family expectations, cultural values, personal goals, and the pressures of everyday life. My own experiences have shaped my passion for helping others navigate life’s challenges while staying connected to their identity, strengths, and values.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel seen, heard, and understood without judgment. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, or feelings of being overwhelmed, you do not have to navigate it alone. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where we can work together to better understand your experiences, build effective coping skills, and create meaningful and lasting change.
I specialize in working with first-generation individuals, professionals, and members of BIPOC communities who may be carrying the weight of multiple responsibilities while trying to care for themselves. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling exhausted, disconnected, stuck, or uncertain about their next steps. Together, we explore the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may be holding them back while building on the strengths they already possess.
My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing tools they can use in their everyday lives. I believe that healing happens when individuals are given both the support and the skills needed to move forward with confidence.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is witnessing clients discover their resilience, reclaim their voice, and create lives that feel more authentic and fulfilling. As a fluent Spanish-speaking therapist, I am committed to providing culturally responsive care and creating a safe space where clients feel empowered to show up as their full selves.
Seeking support is a courageous first step, and I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, growth, and self-discovery.
