My experiences with immigration and undocumented status as a Black, queer, Caribbean woman from Jamaica enables me to offer unique therapeutic support and perspective for Latiné modern professionals who are navigating some of these aspects of identity and lived experience.
Having trained at the Ackerman Institute, my approach is grounded in relational and deeply humanistic principles. I also recognize that the body often holds and communicates experiences that cannot always be articulated verbally. For this reason, I integrate mindfulness and somatic experiencing into my practice. I offer unique therapeutic support and perspective for BIPOC, immigrant, and queer modern professionals navigating intergenerational patterns as they chart their path forward in their own lives and relationships. I look forward to supporting you in this process!
