About

The Aguirre Center of Inclusive Psychotherapy,   is a group practiced dedicated to providing culturally-sensitive, insight-oriented individual and group psychotherapy to Latinx, BIPOC & LGBTQIA+ adults. Our team of Latinx therapists  have a passion for working with the Latinx community  and for helping individuals establish more satisfying, authentic relationships with others and with themselves.  Our team of Latinx therapists know first-hand the unique stressors that Latinx face as they navigate the challenges living and working in a society that is embedded in systemic oppression. In our clinical work,  we utilize an intersectional, culturally-informed approach to understand dynamics of power, privilege, and oppression that have shaped our clients identities and lived experiences. Our therapists have training as a generalists and experience working with a wide spectrum of clients presenting with a wide range of issues.  Our clinical specialization include:

  • Anxiety & Depression
  • Trauma Recovery (childhood abuse, sexual assault, and relationship violence)
  • Relational Concerns (trust, intimacy, closeness)
  • Perfectionism, Imposter Syndrome
  • Race-Based Stress & Trauma (microaggressions, racism, oppression)
  • Cultural/Ethnic Identity Concerns
  • Trans/Gender Affirming Care
  • Over-functioning high-achieving professionals

We are based in Atlanta, but also provide online psychotherapy services (telehealth) to residents of PSYPACT states.

PLEASE NOTE:  We are Out-of-Network providers with health insurance companies and do not bill insurance companies. What this means is that you would have to pay for your sessions upfront (with a debit card, HSA/FSA card 0r credit card), and we will provide you with a detailed receipt (called a superbill) of our services that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.  We also do not work with any EAP (Employee Assistance Programs).
