I am a bilingual and bicultural Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and founder of PachaYaku Therapy. I was born in Peru and I identify as Indigenous, more specifically as Quechua. I use a trauma-informed, person-centered, holistic, culturally affirmative and strengths-based approach with an anti-oppressive and social justice lens. I am committed to practicing cultural humility, inclusivity, anti-racism and I am LGBTQIA+ affirming. I specialize in working with racialized first and second generation folx with identity issues, relationship issues, anxiety and depression. I also have experience working with undocumented folx and the LGBTQIA+ community, adolescents (16+) and adults. As a therapist, my intention is to partner with you and cultivate a safe space full of self-compassion and self-awareness. Every person is unique and we will collaborate to identify and tailor the most helpful therapy approaches for you. I integrate Brainspotting, mindfulness-based therapies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, motivational interviewing, writing, interpersonal, meditation and somatic techniques.
