My goal is to eliminate the stigma associated with mental health in the Latinx community and promote greater understanding and assistance for those who are in need of mental health services but are unsure of where to start. I am committed to bringing about positive change among this demographic and tearing down barriers because I have faced similar difficulties and am aware of the pervasive negativity in our community. By giving them a secure space to talk about their feelings and mental health, I hope to uplift and empower a community that has been marginalized and has experienced ongoing discrimination and outside difficulties.
