As a first-generation Latina, I am passionate about breaking the stigma of mental health and helping others break through patterns of generational trauma to bring healing, inner peace and self-love. My approach is to support and guide you to discover your strengths to create a life you deserve.
I am trained as a Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TF-CBT) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I use therapeutic techniques that are focused on mindfulness, grounding, self-care and embracing individual strengths to assist with nourishing and healing the mind, body, and soul. I aim to create a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment for my clients.
Reaching out for help and seeking therapy can be hard (I’ve been there). Whether this is your first-time seeking therapy, have experienced a transition that might be challenging, are tired of cycling through negative patterns in your life and relationships, or perhaps anxiety is affecting your mood and you don’t feel like yourself lately. I enjoy working with clients from all backgrounds who are ready to explore change.
I enjoy spending my free time connecting with my inner niña while coloring, painting, dancing, cooking, eating my favorite foods, and watching movies.
Finding a therapist whom you feel connected and comfortable with is essential in your treatment. In-person and online sessions available. I invite you to reach out for a free 15-minute phone consultation and I am happy to answer any questions you may have regarding how I work with clients.
