Hello, my name is Stephanie Aguilar, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I provide sessions via telehealth. I am also the daughter of farm workers and a first-generation college student.
I know it can be difficult to reach out and ask for help. It can be intimidating and isolating, especially when it seems like there is nowhere else to turn.
I graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2019 from Gonzaga University and obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2017 from Eastern Washington University.
I am passionate with working with teens, adults, and families. I specialize in treating a variety of areas including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, stress management, LGBTQIA + identities, race and multicultural issues and complexities, abandonment, self-esteem, women’s issues, transition and adjustment.
I have experience in a variety of therapeutic modalities such as CBT, CETA, CBT-P, Internal Family Systems, DBT, EMDR, Expressive Arts therapy, motivational interviewing, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and narrative therapy. I am able to utilize an eclectic orientation to personalize and adapt treatment to meet you where you are on your journey.
I hope we get to connect soon and I am excited to learn more about your story.
Please reach out if you do not see an available time or day that works, I can be flexible with scheduling.
