About Sonia Rodrigues-Marto, MA, LPC, LMFT, LCADC, ACS

Looking to make changes in your life or need some guidance in working with your child? I specialize in treating adolescents and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-injurious behavior, sexual trauma, domestic violence, life transitions, family conflict, relationship issues and career changes. I work predominantly with young adults, women and children who have been impacted by trauma. I help support women in their recovery from betrayal and abusive relationships. In addition, I also work predominantly with individuals going through major life transitions or those wanting to make significant changes in their life. I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for my clients where they can feel supported on their path towards healing from their traumatic experiences and guide them towards creating the life they desire. Taking that first step towards receiving the extra support you need is often the hardest but it can lead to an opportunity to heal old wounds and to explore any barriers that are keeping you from moving forward so you can have the life you desire. My approach is holistic, person-centered, strength-based and goal-oriented. I am fluent in Spanish & Portuguese.
