Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming—especially when you’re already carrying the weight of anxiety, depression, substance use, or the pressure of being the “strong one” in your family or community. As a licensed LPC and LSATP with over 18 years of experience, I work with adolescents (14+), college students, and adults, including first-generation Latinx clients navigating the unique challenges of bicultural identity, trauma, and life transitions.
I offer a space that’s warm, grounded, and culturally responsive—where you don’t have to explain your culture, code-switching, or why family expectations sometimes feel heavy. Whether you’re facing acculturation stress, the emotional impact of reunification, or managing high-functioning anxiety while holding it all together, therapy can help you slow down, reconnect, and find your voice.
My approach is collaborative and tailored to your needs. I draw from evidence-based practices including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, mindfulness, and mind-body strategies. Whether we’re working on emotional regulation, building self-trust, or processing painful experiences, we’ll move at your pace—and I’ll be with you every step of the way.
I often work with clients who feel stuck between cultures, overwhelmed by expectations, or disconnected from themselves. Some are in recovery from substance use and want ongoing support; others are navigating big life decisions, relationships, or the lingering effects of trauma. Many are high achievers who feel anxious, burned out, or unsure of how to just “be okay.”
Therapy isn’t about fixing you—because you’re not broken. It’s about creating space to understand yourself more deeply, honor where you’ve been, and move forward with more clarity and confidence.
I currently offer telehealth sessions with flexible scheduling, including evenings, to support busy students, professionals, and families across Virginia. I accept CareFirst insurance and offer private-pay options.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your healing process—or even if you’re just curious about how therapy could support you—help is available.
