Cultural Identities

About Silvia Ramirez Quiroz, LCSW

I’m a bilingual Latinx therapist (LCSW in NY) dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions. Having worked with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, I bring a deep understanding of the unique experiences and stressors that can affect Latinx, immigrant, and underserved communities. My own background informs my work, allowing me to approach therapy with cultural humility, empathy, and respect for each client’s story.

I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where clients can explore their identities, relationships, and goals without fear of judgment. Using evidence-based and culturally responsive approaches such as CBT, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care, I collaborate with clients to build on their strengths, develop coping strategies, and foster self-understanding and growth. My goal is to honor your experiences and walk with you as you navigate healing and self-discovery.
