Cultural Identities

About Samantha Valeriano, LMSW

Have you ever felt like no one truly understands your experiences—the weight you carry, the challenges you face, or the strength it takes just to get through the day? You’re not alone. As a bilingual, Mexican-American therapist, I understand the importance of culture, identity, and community in shaping our experiences. Whether you are facing life transitions, navigating the weight of generational trauma, or seeking a space to process emotions safely, I am here to walk alongside you.

I integrate Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Liberation Psychology, and Ecological Systems Theory to address Trauma, Grief and Loss, Life Transitions, LGBTQ+ issues, and justice-impacted communities, providing a space where you don’t have to explain or justify your experiences—I already understand the systemic and cultural challenges you may face.

My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered to create a life that feels aligned with your values and needs.
