The majority of my work as a psychologist has been with Latinx children, teens, and young adults. I enjoy collaborating with Latino/as on taking control of their mental health and becoming their ideal self by embracing their strengths and learning new skills. I specialize in BIPOC psychotherapy and the therapeutic evaluation of ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders. I offer a relaxed and light-hearted space that examines attachment, cultural factors, and trauma history (relational, generational, etc.) to best understand your individual world. I strive to provide you a meaningful understanding of your strengths, challenges, and history. My goal is to ensure you feel heard and supported as you work through tough stuff. Therapy is not always fun or easy but I have created an environment where you can feel comfortable exploring, laughing, and learning about yourself and others. Also, as a Latina psychologist, having a safe space for identity exploration is essential to my work. Rosie P. Hernandez, PhD (669) 239-9199 in Gilroy, CA
