Hello my name is Rocio R. Flores and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I provide online counseling to those that live in the state of California. I was born and raised in San Jose, California. I am a first generation, Mexican-American. My life experience as a daughter of hardworking immigrants provided me great pride, and challenges as well. These challenges opened my heart and passion to provide mental health support to others that faced childhood and generational trauma. Being able to support my clients through their healing journey is a great honor. I receive their story with compassion and openness. I wholeheartedly believe that human connection is built on trust and respect, within a safe space. I honor this belief and bring it into my therapeutic work.  In doing this, I hope to support you in an inward journey of self-discovery and healing. I enjoy using different evidence-based practices; however, I am aware of the importance of tailoring my treatment modalities to the specific needs of each individual. I specifically take a trauma informed approach, while keeping culture in the forefront. Together we will break unhealthy patterns or family cycles that hinder growth and quality of life. Sessions are strength-based, dynamic, collaborative and focus on supporting you in finding hope, personal insight and strength.
