Welcome! My name is Rebecca Gonzalez. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas—my home—where I have dedicated my career to serving the diverse communities across the state. I obtained my Master’s degree in Counseling from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and began my counseling journey as a Certified School Counselor. In that role, I supported children and adolescents as they navigated challenges related to identity, relationships, self-esteem, and academic pressures. After years of working with students in a school setting, I am excited to bring that experience to private practice, where I continue to support clients in navigating life’s challenges.
I have a great passion for what I do and feel rewarded seeing my clients reach their full potential. I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life and embrace the importance of honoring each person’s culture, identity, and values throughout the counseling process. My approach is client-centered, and I cultivate an environment of trust, empathy, and unconditional acceptance.
