Cultural Identities

About Raven Vega, LPC

Does it feel difficult to speak up for yourself or ask for what you need? Maybe people-pleasing has become your default, or you’ve spent so much time caring for others that you’ve lost touch with your own wants, needs, and emotions.

As a Queer Puerto Rican therapist, I understand that our identities, cultures, families, and communities shape how we move through the world. I know that healing often begins when we no longer have to explain or minimize parts of ourselves. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and empowered to show up as your full, authentic self.

You deserve a place where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and be met with warmth, curiosity, and compassion. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, deepen your understanding of your emotions, and build practical tools to help you create more authentic, fulfilling relationships—with yourself and with others.

I practice from an affirming, anti-oppressive, and culturally responsive perspective, recognizing that our mental health is shaped not only by our personal experiences but also by the systems, cultures, and relationships that surround us. I believe trust is earned, and I strive to create a therapeutic relationship grounded in collaboration, transparency, and genuine connection.

I enjoy working with teens (14+) and adults navigating anxiety, identity exploration, life transitions, relationship challenges, and self-esteem concerns. I proudly provide LGBTQIA+-affirming, polyamory/CNM-affirming, and kink-knowledgeable therapy, welcoming clients of all identities and backgrounds.

PLEASE NOTE : I am an Out-of-Network provider and do not bill insurance companies.
