My approach is rooted in psychodynamic-relational therapy, which focuses on understanding how your past experiences shape the ways you engage with your relationships and the world around you today. To best support your unique needs, I also integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness techniques.
I am a queer Afro-Latina psychologist, and my identities deeply inform and enrich the way I approach therapy. This is an inclusive and affirming space where you are welcome exactly as you are.
