Hello! I am excited to share a little bit about my practice with you. My name is Raquel Carrasquillo and I currently provide psychotherapy and life-coaching services aimed at improving your relationship with yourself, creating healthy daily patterns that lead to better relationships, and higher levels of success, and helping my clients align with a life they feel inspired to live out each day. My work is centered around personal development, improving self-esteem, nervous system healing, and anxiety & stress reduction. With a client-base primarily comprised of women of color and Latinx individuals, I focus on my client’s cultural lens and values in order to promote growth and healing through compassion and empowerment. An important aspect of my work with clients is in healing intergenerational cycles and breaking unhealthy patterns that can block an individual  from living out the life they know is meant for them.  I help clients articulate the thoughts and feelings they experience in order to understand the underlying cause of their unhappiness. Healing is not a one-size-fits-all approach and so I use varying therapeutic modalities tailored to my clients. I also consider a client's relationship with spirituality as this can be an area where deep healing occurs. I help my client’s become aware of how their emotions, past trauma, and thoughts affect their physical health which often leads them to reducing physical symptoms and restoring their mind & body connection. I incorporate mindfulness techniques into my work and encourage my clients to use techniques in their everyday lives to reduce their stress levels, anxiety, and depressive symptoms. I provide homework assignments for my clients to complete in order to strengthen their coping skills and continue their healing process beyond our sessions. I also work with clients in all states who are specifically looking for coaching and goal setting towards a new career endeavor, looking to find love, or  help in tackling issues of self-worth to break through old narratives and barriers that keep them from unlimited abundance in their personal and professional lives.
