About Ramona Ramirez-Weza, LICSW

Hi, I’m Ramona. I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting people through anxiety, imposter syndrome, body image distress, and struggles with food that don’t always “look” like an eating disorder.

As a therapist—and a first-generation daughter of immigrants—I know how heavy it can feel to carry everyone’s expectations. To always be “the strong one,” the one who achieves, who sacrifices, who doesn’t complain. I’ve lived through that pressure to be perfect, to keep going no matter what, even when my relationship with food and my body was quietly falling apart.

Maybe you’re constantly thinking about food—what you should or shouldn’t eat. Maybe you feel guilt after eating or find yourself skipping meals without realizing why. Maybe your body never feels “good enough,” no matter what you do. You’ve learned how to hustle, to push through—but not how to rest, or feel safe in your own skin. I see you.

You deserve to feel grounded, seen, and nourished—inside and out.

Therapy with me is a space where we slow down and get curious about your story, your body, and the messages you’ve carried for far too long. I center safety, cultural awareness, and deep respect for your lived experience. You’re not broken—and you’re not alone.

Together, we’ll explore mind-body strategies to calm your inner critic, reconnect with your body, and untangle food from fear, shame, or control. You’ll begin to see that worth isn’t something you earn—it’s something you already have.

You are enough. You’ve always been enough.

If you’re ready to take the first step, I invite you to schedule a complimentary 20-minute intro call or book a telehealth intake session. I’d be honored to support your healing and help you build a life that truly reflects your values—not just survival, but joy.
