Hola-Welcome! My name is Prisma Martinez (she, her, ella). I am a psychotherapist, independently licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of California, Florida, and Nevada. I obtained a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology in 2015 from Mount Saint Mary’s University, Los Angeles. I have over a decade of clinical experience in mental health, working with adults and children in diverse settings, and from an array of ethnic, cultural, and identity backgrounds, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities.
My mission is to provide a compassionate space where teens, young adults, parents, and professionals can access culturally sensitive mental health support as they prepare for and navigate life. My work is inspired by curiosity, creativity, and courage to cultivate a world where each unique individual has the confidence, tools, and hope they need to break cycles, heal, and thrive without shame, blame, or doubt holding them back. I offer a safe space to support your mental health journey and empower you to cultivate the life you deserve & overcome stressful life transitions such as Adolescence, College Life, Adulting, and Parenting.
Additional Services: Mental Health Evaluations for Immigration Cases (VAWA•Asylum•Hardship•T-Visa•U-Visa•Cancellation of Removal). Services are offered to children and adults in English, Spanish, and other languages with support of professional interpretation services.
