Hi, my name is Patricia! Navigating struggles in a relationship is not easy. You try to get things to change but find that no matter how hard you work at it, things end up the same or worse. Families are complex systems. Working with an experienced and dedicated professional can help you get back to connection and beyond to a relationship that is better than it was before.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have a passion for working with families and couples. I take a positive and optimistic view of relationships. The primary foundation for my clinical work in couples therapy is the Gottman Method. I also utilize Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). I place an emphasis on attachment in all relationships. I work to help you change cycles and increase connection, making a overall improvement in your relationship. I also utilize Theraplay-based interventions and Solution-Focused Therapy in my work with families. I was born and raised in Tucson. I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University in 2015. I have worked with families struggling with communication, boundaries, trust, addiction issues, depression, anxiety, grief and loss or have experienced trauma, intergenerational trauma, DCS involvement, ADHD, autism, attachment issues, and more. I have worked with couples experiencing infidelity, intimacy struggles, divorce/discernment, conflict and communication issues, past trauma affecting the current relationship and many other issues.
