Hola! My name is Pamela. I am bilingual, Latina, Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of CA and also a certified Grief Educator. I started Inspire Therapy and Consulting with the intention of planting seeds of hope out into the world to inspire others to begin their journey of healing and/or self-discovery. My work is also deeply rooted in wanting to destigmatize mental health across ALL communities of color. I work from an anti-racisim, social justice lens.
I have over 10 years of experience delivering mental health services to children, youth and families who have been impacted by traumatic experiences, such as domestic violence, community/gang violence and substance abuse. I also specialize in working with individuals who have been impacted by grief/loss, stressful life transitions related to early adulthood, acculturation and immigration. I have experience working in a variety of settings such as community mental health agencies, child welfare and juvenile justice settings and working individually with Spanish speaking men and women, who have been impacted by domestic violence. I love guiding others towards making meaningful changes in their lives. I am honored and humbled to do the work that I do! I strive to provide a safe and non-judgmental space as I support others in “unpacking” what brings them to therapy and always work with where my clients are at. Healing is a life long journey not a destination. I ‘d love to help, reach out!
Sending light,
Â
