Welcome! I’m Olga, a compassionate and dedicated therapist specializing in trauma, anxiety, and supporting adult children navigate complex family dynamics. You may find yourself carrying the weight of unresolved emotions and unspoken expectations. I’m here to support you in healing, setting healthy boundaries, and finding your own voice in a way that honors your cultural roots and unique experiences.
My approach is rooted in understanding the unique challenges faced by individuals from diverse backgrounds, particularly immigrants and children of immigrants. I believe that our cultural narratives significantly shape our experiences and resilience. With training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), I draw from a variety of evidence-based techniques to tailor our work together to your specific needs. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings, develop coping strategies, and foster personal growth. I understand that trauma and our environments can deeply impact our bodies, influencing how we feel and interact with the world around us.
If you’re navigating the complexities of past experiences, managing anxiety, or seeking to understand your relationship with your parents in a new light, I’m here to support you on your journey. Let’s work together to uncover your strengths and create a more fulfilling life.
Feel free to reach out for a consultation; I look forward to meeting you!
***LA FIRES: In the wake of the recent fires in Los Angeles, I understand how painful and overwhelming it can be to face the emotional and psychological impact of such a profound tragedy. To support those affected, I am offering immediate availability for specialized care, using the ASSYST Protocol (Acute Stress Syndrome Stabilization). This EMDR-based, low-intensity approach is designed to be administered shortly after a traumatic event, either in-person or online. ASSYST helps regulate the nervous system by reducing the emotional, physiological, and mental activation caused by distressing memories or emotions. By addressing these immediate symptoms, it can help facilitate the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) system, allowing the body and mind to begin their natural healing process.***
