Growing up as the oldest daughter in an immigrant Mexican family, I learned early what it meant to carry responsibility, hold space for others, and navigate between two worlds. I became the translator, the problem-solver, and the emotional support system. Those experiences shaped the heart behind my work as a therapist today — to create a space where others, especially first-generation Latinas and Latinos, can finally put down the weight they’ve been carrying and begin to feel seen, supported, and free to breathe.
As a bilingual Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, I specialize in helping clients who feel caught between expectations and authenticity — those striving to succeed while battling self-doubt, burnout, and guilt for wanting something different than what their families imagined. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Existential Therapy to help clients uncover meaning, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and learn to live more intentionally.
In our sessions, I offer more than talk therapy — I offer a collaborative partnership. We’ll explore your story, your upbringing, and how cultural values like familismo, respeto, and hard work have shaped both your strengths and your struggles. My goal isn’t to change who you are but to help you reconnect with who you’ve always been beneath survival mode. Whether you’re navigating a career transition, relationship challenges, family boundaries, or simply feeling “stuck,” I’ll meet you with empathy, cultural understanding, and practical tools to help you move forward.
I’m especially passionate about supporting:
First-generation professionals and students managing imposter syndrome and burnout
Adult children of immigrants seeking to balance family expectations with personal freedom
Latinas exploring identity, faith, and purpose in a world that often pulls them in different directions
Young adults struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, or direction in life
I believe healing begins when we no longer feel alone in our experiences. In therapy, you’ll find a space that honors your story — one that understands how cultural pressures, generational trauma, and faith intersect with your mental health. We’ll focus on helping you find clarity and peace in your daily life, learning how to slow down, set boundaries, and reconnect with your inner strength.
Therapy with me is warm, reflective, and grounded in real conversations. I offer clients a judgment-free space to process emotions, explore their beliefs, and reconnect with what truly matters. My role is not to give you answers but to help you discover them within yourself — because you already carry everything you need to live with meaning, confidence, and grace.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re “too much” or “not enough,” or like you’re constantly carrying the world on your shoulders, I want you to know you don’t have to do it alone. Healing isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence — learning to show up for yourself one step at a time.
I currently offer virtual sessions for California residents and provide a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit. Therapy can be the first step toward finally feeling grounded in who you are — and I’d be honored to walk that path with you.
