From an early age, experiences within our families and communities in which we live significantly influence who we are. For this reason, Ness is passionate about providing a non- judgmental space to support growth and resilience, working in collaboration with clients to highlight and expand upon existing strengths.
As a TGNC queer-identified clinician, they value social justice and the diverse experiences that each client brings into the therapeutic endeavor. Their passion for integrating identity into the therapeutic process highlights their training and experience based in gender-diverse approaches to affirmative care. They value showing up authentically, believing that it is foundational to a positive therapeutic alliance.
With compassion and vulnerability, Ness centers an integrated and trauma-informed approach to therapy that builds spaces full of warmth and humor. They acknowledge the effects of generational trauma, structural racism and the fluidity of gender and sexuality, welcoming clients to safely explore their experiences.
(Ness practices therapy in Illinois and offers coaching anywhere.)
