About

Hello! My name is Nereida and I am a first-generation Latina therapist. As the eldest child of Mexican parents, I understand the pressure of cultural norms and expectations. Oftentimes the imposter syndrome and perfectionistic tendencies go unnoticed to others. I believe we are all in an ongoing process of growth and I would love to help you along your journey.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, family issues, life/work/school stress, relationship conflicts, self-esteem, grief, and phase of life changes. I use evidence-based practices to help client's reframe unhelpful narratives. It is important to feel heard and have the opportunity to heal and grow. Whether this is your first-time attending therapy or if you’ve had previous experience, I look forward to getting to know more about your story and helping you reach your goals in a safe and non-judgmental environment.

My eclectic approach to therapy allows for a tailored experience for each individual's needs. Services are currently offered via Telehealth and in person. Sliding-scale options are offered as needed. Super-bills are offered for those with PPO Insurance.
