Many of us who are proud to call ourselves members of the LatinX community were raised on values that taught us to be resilient, make sacrifices, and put family first—much like how our loved ones paved the way for the opportunities that we’re blessed with today. And while these values reflect strength and love, the weight of the inherited pain stemming from years of oppression, colonization, and cultural silence often leads to negative patterns of perfectionism and emotional disconnection that can feel like too much to overcome by yourself. Being able to offer people that support is the reason I founded my practice, RenuVitality. My name is Nasstassja Vargas, and I specialize in treating intergenerational, developmental, and acute trauma by using a holistic approach that integrates the mind and body, guiding you to everlasting healing. My therapeutic approach is genuine, compassionate, and nonjudgmental because I know how heavy the burden you’re carrying may be.
I want to help you honor your LatinX culture so that you can build a deeper sense of belonging within yourself and your community. By tailoring a treatment plan to best suit your individual needs, I will help you learn to regulate your nervous system so that life doesn’t always feel so heavy.
