Somatic Psychotherapy aims to address patterns of depressive, chronic stress, anxiety, and trauma responses from childhood, present day difficulties, or both. I am trained in IFS, IFIO, EFCT, EMDR, TRM, TF-CBT and incorporate your unique wellness and resiliency to our work based on your cultural beliefs and practices.
Sex Therapy for Individuals and Relationships (Monogamous, Cis-Het, Queer, Poly/CNM)
Sex therapy aims to address the emotional and psychological aspects of sexual health and wellness. Some common areas of interest are: Queer & Trans sexual health, sexuality exploration, gender exploration, gender transitioning care, low libido, painful sex, out of control sexual behaviors aka “sex addiction,” kink & BDSM practices/interest, polyamorous & ethical non-monogamous relationships, recovery from infidelity, sexual harm/abuse/trauma, exploring sex(uality) & disabilities/chronic illness, sex & spirituality/faith, and exploring sex work.

Approaches to Therapy
I approach therapy from an integrative approach mostly humanistic and somatic while incorporating psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral as needed. Decolonizing approaches include Indigenous Ways of Knowledge like Chicano Psychology, anarchafeminist, anarchopunk, multicultural psychotherapy, liberation psychology and Mujerista approaches. I support individual and collective healing from trauma towards recovery by integrating each person’s spiritual, artistic, and creative practices as a source of continued restoration and healing. I encourage people to reconnect to their natural healing abilities and cultural practices.
