My experience includes working in community mental health providing mental health services to children, including 0-5 with their caregivers, teens, young adults, and adults and seniors. I have been trained in evidence-based practices and utilize therapeutic frameworks such as family systems perspectives, differentiation, CBT, play therapy, trauma informed therapy, EMDR and perinatal mental health. I provide direct clinical therapeutic services emphasizing strength and resiliency-based practices to individuals, children, and families utilizing evidence-based practices emphasizing strength, resiliency, cultural humility, and trauma-informed perspectives to children and adults of all ages and multicultural backgrounds. My practice currently focuses on working with anyone navigating life transitions, including chronic health and medical complexities. Additionally, assisting those needing support coping with depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma.

I obtained a Bachelor’s in Psychology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology in Marriage and Family Therapy with Latina/o Communities from Pepperdine University.
