MIRIAM RUBINO, LMFT- Integrative Therapy. EMDR. KAP.

I am a bilingual, bicultural clinician working from a trauma informed lens, providing services to adults, couples and children. I work from an integrative relational approach, that includes mindfulness, evidence based practices and neurobiological principles. As an EMDR Therapist, I provide evidence based, compassionate, embodied and culturally competent care in a mindful, yet playful way through a variety of approaches such as Narrative practices, Expressive Arts Therapy,  talk and embodied modalities (CBT, DBT, Somatics). I am mindful of providing inclusive services aiming to respect and honor all types of bodies, cultures and brains. I am also trained and offer Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy, Preparation + Integration work, using Expressive Arts Therapy, creative and embodied approaches. My training and life experience has taught me to be at ease navigating the “liminal” (in between) space between the practical-here and now and more depth oriented work. I have lived and worked internationally for over 2 decades,  fostering successful connections and supporting clients from diverse backgrounds. I also enjoy working with children 5 to 12 yo using child centered, Play Therapy and Expressive Arts modalities. My office: I am based in San Rafael, CA, (Marin County) and provide services over telehealth all over California. I am a fully private pay provider, and  can provide a Superbill (a receipt that you can present to your insurance for reimbursement), if you have OON benefits or a HSA/FSA account.
