My work is centered in supporting people through life changes – struggles in love, family and interpersonal relations, acculturation and immigration stressors, trauma, loss and grief, health issues, self-esteem and identity development, work and academic stressors.
I aim to build an authentic therapeutic space with you, where you can connect, explore, be honest, rethink, elaborate for change and nurture growth.
Sessions can be focused on understanding yourself better, processing difficult moments, finding new meanings and ways, improving communication and expression, identifying and fostering your strengths.
My approach is sincere, relational, deeply reflective, and affirmative.
I integrate psychodynamic, humanistic, cultural-historical and trauma-informed modalities to base care on your specific needs.
I take into consideration all aspects of a person’s identity and context (the social, cultural, racial, spiritual, political, familial and historical factors) that can influence our lives, self-view, values, perspectives and decisions.
As a clinician, clients have described me as attentive, insightful, warm, and humorous.
I have lived and practiced in different countries, and am passionate about serving immigrant, international, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients. Whether you are looking for a clinician with similar experiences to yours or a space to root yourself and focus on your process, I welcome you to reach and start our work together!
