Cultural Identities

About Matt Sato, LMSW, LSW

With a background in business, higher education administration, and policy, I bring a systems-oriented approach to the clinical support that I offer my clients. My therapeutic style is very client-forward, and I’m passionate about helping my clients better understand themselves within the context of their environment and the larger social context.

As a gay Filipino-American raised by immigrant parents, I’m particularly passionate about supporting BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities by addressing the unique cultural and intergenerational dynamics that can shape their mental health experiences. My professional background offers me a unique perspective on the mental health needs of college-age populations.

Individual therapy is $120/session. Your PPO plan may cover 30%–80% of out-of-network therapy costs.
