Cultural Identities

About Marissa Sanchez, LCSW

Healing that honors every part of you — body, mind, spirit, and ancestry.

As a therapist, I offer trauma-informed care through a decolonized lens —

A space where your story is honored without pathologizing your pain.

My work integrates somatic healing practices, helping you reconnect with the wisdom of your body, and draws on traditional homeopathic approaches rooted in the rich lineage of curanderismo, the healing traditions passed down through generations in many Spanish-speaking cultures.

This is a space where both science and spirit are welcome. Where therapy is not just about coping, but about remembering who you are, reclaiming what was taken, and gently restoring balance — within and beyond. Together, we tend to trauma with compassion, honoring both your lived experience and the ancestral strength that lives within you.

Healing is not linear. It’s sacred, personal, and possible — and you don’t have to walk it alone.
