My expertise lies in supporting children and families, cultivated through extensive experience in non-profit and county settings. I effectively assist children facing a spectrum of challenges, including anxiety, depression, phobias, substance use, and oppositional defiance. My work also extends to at-risk youth requiring hospitalization and families navigating complex changes and parental difficulties, including survivors of trauma.
I am honored to have worked with diverse populations, including monolingual Spanish-speaking parents and youth, multicultural families, LGBTQI+ self-identified individuals, and blended families. I believe in honoring the unique culture and intricate dynamics within every family unit.
Currently, my passion is dedicated to guiding parents of children under 18. As a parent, I intimately understand that while parenthood is a blessing, it also presents profound challenges. Many parents struggle to openly share their true fears and difficulties, often fearing judgment or shame related to their child’s behavior. I provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where parents can explore their individual concerns. By fostering a strong therapeutic relationship, I help parents gain valuable insights, address blind spots, and ultimately access the resources and tools needed to navigate the complexities of raising children effectively.
