Are you feeling overwhelmed and it’s interfering with your ability to have good days, in your relationships, sleep, work, or even school? Maybe these overwhelming feelings are coming out of the blue or from a variety of recent/past experiences, leaving you with little room to experience joy, or feel like your authentic self. If you are a person of color, are bicultural, or bilingual these overwhelming feelings can be compounded. You are not alone. Many individuals can feel this way and these overwhelming feelings can be deeply rooted. Yet, they can be healed and managed. You can be realigned with your desired self. You can learn to bounce back quicker from setbacks, make meaning of what has happened to you, and rekindle joy. In sessions, my clients learn to identify/understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and painful situations to achieve this. My clients can do this because I provide a non-judgmental, supportive, and culturally/identity-affirming space.
