About Marco Villegas, LPC

At KMF Counseling Solutions, PLLC, I help young Latina/o professionals in Austin who feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, and life transitions. Many of my clients are high achievers who look successful on the outside, but inside they’re battling constant worry, pressure, and exhaustion. If you’ve ever felt like you have to carry everything alone or “be strong” for everyone else, you’re not alone.

What inspired me to become a therapist was seeing how many in our community quietly suffer because of the stigma around mental health. Growing up, I often heard that therapy was only for people who were “crazy” or that you should just push through your struggles. I know firsthand how harmful those beliefs can be. My mission is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can finally set those burdens down, reconnect with yourself, and discover healthier ways to cope.

Therapy with me is collaborative and culturally responsive. Together, we’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck, build tools for balance, and help you reclaim your energy and joy. If stress, anxiety, or depression are holding you back from the life you want, know that healing is possible—and you don’t have to walk this journey alone.
