My name is Lupe Macias‑Hidalgo, LAC, and my journey began in Quito, Ecuador, where I was born and raised. I am a bilingual trauma therapist dedicated to supporting individuals—especially Gen Z—as they process and heal from the painful experiences that have shaped their lives.
My clinical focus includes unhealthy relationship patterns, family estrangement, emotional abuse, gaslighting, and betrayal trauma. I work with clients navigating ADHD, helping them understand their neurobiology, build self‑compassion, and develop practical strategies that support emotional regulation, executive functioning, and daily life. I also provide affirming, compassionate support to members of the LGBTQ+ community, helping them explore identity, strengthen self‑acceptance, and heal from experiences of rejection or discrimination.
I believe deeply in a collaborative therapeutic relationship: meeting clients exactly where they are, expanding awareness with compassion, and working together toward meaningful, self‑defined goals.
