You’re the guy who has it together—on paper, at least. Good job, responsible, maybe a father or partner. But inside? Different story. The overthinking won’t stop. You snap, shut down, or just feel off—disconnected from who you want to be.
Or maybe you’re a teen stuck between everyone’s expectations and figuring out who you actually are. School pressure, identity questions, cultural dynamics—you’re handling it, but barely.
Many of my clients are men and young men—especially Latino—balancing achievement, family expectations, and identity. Maybe you’re navigating fatherhood, performance pressure, or being first in your family to “make it.” Or you’re trying to make your family proud while finding your own path. Nobody knows you’re struggling because you keep it together on the outside.
How I Work
We figure out what’s driving the stress, challenge stuck thoughts, and build tools you use tomorrow — using CBT and ACT as the framework. You’ll learn to regulate emotions, make clear decisions, and think under pressure. This isn’t “tell me about your childhood” therapy. It’s structured, practical, growth-focused. We identify the problem, address it, move forward. Sessions in English or Spanish via video throughout California.
What Makes This Different
I’m a Mexican American guy and a dad. I get how masculinity, family expectations, and identity shape everything—whether you’re an adult managing it all or a teen finding your place. I know what it’s like being caught between cultures, carrying family expectations, feeling like you can’t show weakness.
I won’t make you sit in circles talking about feelings. But I will create a space where you can be straight with me, and I’ll be straight with you. Accountability and support. No BS. We work together—you bring honesty and willingness, I bring structure and tools.
Who This Is For
Men and young men ready to do something different. Tired of spinning your wheels, same patterns in relationships or work/school, performing instead of living. You want practical solutions, not endless processing. You’re willing to be challenged and hold yourself accountable.
