Lisette (she/her/ella) is a bilingual Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #137261, originally from Puerto Rico. Moving to the U.S. as a young adult, she experienced firsthand the complexities of navigating different cultures, which deepened her understanding of diverse perspectives. She specializes in Narrative Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and EMDR – integrating mindfulness and somatic experiencing bringing a holistic approach to her counseling. Lisette values the unique insights clients bring from their lived experiences and understands how trauma, relationships, culture, and society shape personal narratives and impact the body. With an open heart, she partners with clients to help them make choices aligned with their values and goals, fostering autonomy, confidence, and authenticity in their lives.
