About Liliana Bermudez, LPC

I am a compassionate, trauma-informed therapist dedicated to helping adults and young adults manage anxiety, stress, depression, and trauma. Life can feel overwhelming when past experiences, current pressures, and emotional challenges intersect, and I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to help you explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns in a way that fosters healing, growth, and resilience.

I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including childhood trauma, relationship trauma, and PTSD, as well as those navigating life transitions, grief, or emotional overwhelm. I understand that every client’s journey is unique, so I tailor my approach to meet your needs, pace, and personal goals. By combining evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness strategies, I help clients process difficult experiences, regulate emotions, and develop practical skills for managing anxiety and stress in daily life.

In our work together, I emphasize building emotional resilience, self-awareness, and healthy coping strategies. Many clients come to therapy feeling “stuck” or unsure how to manage overwhelming emotions or persistent anxiety. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns, address triggers, and strengthen your ability to respond to challenges with calm, clarity, and confidence. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I work alongside you to create personalized strategies that fit your life.

I provide therapy that is culturally sensitive and inclusive, welcoming Latinx clients, Spanish-speaking individuals, LGBTQ+ clients, and people from diverse backgrounds. I recognize that culture, identity, and lived experiences deeply influence emotional health, and I strive to create a space where every client feels valued, understood, and respected. Whether we are exploring trauma, anxiety, or relationship challenges, you can feel confident that your experiences and identity are honored throughout our work together.

In addition to anxiety and trauma, I support clients navigating relationship issues, career stress, transitions, and grief. Whether you are struggling with the lasting effects of past experiences, adjusting to life changes, or seeking tools to manage daily stress, I provide guidance, strategies, and a supportive environment to foster meaningful change.

I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions to make therapy accessible and convenient. New clients are welcome to a free 15-minute consultation, and one-hour sessions are $190. I accept most major insurance plans, making therapy accessible for those who need it.

My approach is warm, client-centered, and trauma-informed. I aim to help clients feel empowered to understand themselves, build skills that promote long-term emotional well-being, and reconnect with their strengths. Therapy is not only about managing symptoms—it’s about creating a life of emotional balance, confidence, and resilience.

If you are looking for a therapist who combines trauma-informed care, evidence-based therapy, and a compassionate, inclusive approach, I would be honored to work with you. Together, we can navigate anxiety, trauma, and life challenges while building coping skills, emotional regulation, and lasting resilience. My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered every step of the way.
