Hi, my name is Ligia, and I have created an affirming, inclusive private practice for first generation BIPOC adults who struggle to feel safe as they are seen. Those who feel they are battling a version of themselves wanting to ease's everyone else’s pain over their own. Those who are exhausted and want to begin to live their life for themselves. Those who want to honor the different identities that make them an individual.... and not wanting to hide anymore. I work from an intersectional lens that acknowledges all your different identities without judgment. Throughout my educational and professional background, I have emphasized working through this lens because I value that each person is shaped by their culture(s), sexual identity, gender identity, and society.

I provide a safe space where we work along with each other to explore the conflict, understand the origin, and work towards yourself living more authentically and affirming in whichever way you want to define it. We will build your self awareness, self-compassion, and self-confidence. My goal with all my clients through therapy together is that your different parts are feeling heard, validated, and understood.
