Hi, I’m Kimberly, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York. I earned my M.A. in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University and am passionate about helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, identity exploration, and life’s many transitions. I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to show up as your authentic self. I understand that our cultural backgrounds, family experiences, identities, and communities all shape the way we experience the world, and I believe therapy should honor every part of who you are.
My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and strength-based interventions. Together, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you navigate life’s ups and downs with greater confidence and resilience. Whether you’re balancing family expectations, working through anxiety or depression, navigating identity and belonging, or adjusting to a major life transition, I’m here to provide a compassionate, affirming space where you can feel supported every step of the way.
I provide virtual therapy through WellQor, making it easy to access care from wherever you feel most comfortable. WellQor accepts most major insurance plans to help make mental health care more accessible. If you’re ready to get started, simply fill out the Get Started form on the WellQor website. A member of WellQor’s friendly front office team will reach out to answer your questions and help you schedule your first appointment with me. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey toward healing and growth.
Inclusion of individual and group practices on our website does not mean we directly endorse or recommend their services.
